Our approach
MatchScore is built around a simple idea: your matchday should stay yours. The app is designed to work without collecting personal information about you.
Information we don't collect
We do not collect, store or transmit names, email addresses, phone numbers, contacts, location, or device identifiers for advertising. There are no third-party trackers or analytics SDKs embedded in MatchScore.
Information stored on your device
Your picks ledger, app preferences and any cached match data are stored locally on your iPhone. This data never leaves your device unless you choose to back it up through Apple's standard iCloud device backup, which is governed by Apple's own privacy policy.
Third-party content
MatchScore displays live scores, fixtures, tables and news headlines sourced from public sports data providers and publishers (such as BBC, Sky Sports, ESPN, The Guardian and Yahoo). When you open a full article, you leave MatchScore and the destination website's own privacy policy applies.
Children
MatchScore is suitable for general audiences and does not knowingly collect any data from children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new "last updated" date.
